ViewPoint: Nigerian Telecoms And Their Frequent Text Messages

My dear people, the frequent SMS and calls from our NAIJA
Telecommunication Company like GLO, MTN, ETISALAT and AIRTEL are
frustrating at times.

For instance, when you are hoping to recieve an important alert from
your bank or when told that some amount of money would be sent to you.
This is when you will hear your phone beeps"^:'*¿¤". The next you see
on your screen is "Dear Value Subscriber, 3 days left. Recharge N200
today and get 20% bonus free!"

Moreover, when you have just one bar left on your phone reserved to
recieve calls, that's when you will hear "tirinrinti ti~»ririnti ti
****§§**£" That's another call from the network operator from numbers
like "35608, 1412, 5697" and so on. If you picked it, you phone with
2% battery time will goes off.

Let me drop my pen here.

I am using this medium to inform our network operator to find
solutions to these inconveniences.

What's your own point of view and opinions on these issues?
Kindly leave your comments below.
Thanks.
